Maxine Miller, PHD, LMHC

A collaborative and creative approach with individuals, couples, teens, and groups guides my therapeutic orientation. Working with and witnessing clients engaging in psychotherapy has been an honor in my life for more than 30 years. Psychotherapy grants an opening to consider your unique abilities, strengths and challenges as they relate to the specific problems that may lead you to seek out assistance.

My practice is informed by a broad work experience including university counseling, community counseling, outdoor wilderness therapy, inpatient clinical assessment and addiction treatment. A common thread of empathy runs deep and connects these diverse work experiences.

I practice within the broader context of depth traditions, meeting clients where they are, also utilizing systems, cognitive and emotion focused modalities. Depth traditions include psychodynamic, humanistic, Analytical (Jungian) and existential theoretical orientations.

If you are interested in embarking on a journey in psychotherapy, I am happy to discuss questions you might have and share resources you may find helpful.
