Psychotherapy provides an opportunity to have a healing conversation with someone.  I think of myself as sponsoring a safe environment for exploring many aspects of oneself and to grow a deeper capacity for relating.  This has relevance to many of the issues that people seek help for, including depression, anxieties of many kinds, substance abuse, eating disorders, difficulty feeling connected to others, phobias, psychosomatic occurrences, and lack of finding personal meaning in life.  I work with adults, couples, and parents who need support for parenting.
