Dr. Fitzgerald’s focus in working with people is to bring back a sense of balance and increase health related quality of life. Working with those 12 and older, he is able to provide safety and compassion while challenging thoughts and belief systems that are not working in your life. Dr. Fitzgerald earned his Doctor of Marital and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University and has extensive and clinical experience in private practice, hospital-based programs for adolescents and their families, and has specialized training working with Medically Fragile children, adults, and families. Other areas of specialization include conversion, psychosomatic & PNES, traumatic sudden death, professionals, and men’s issues. Along with providing care in hospitals and in private practice, Dr. Fitzgerald enjoys growing the field through teaching graduate courses, consulting, and clinical supervision.
