I work individually with adults facing challenges that often come with being human such as grief and loss, parenting or intimate relationship conflict, and life transitions. I believe that our struggles and strengths make sense when considered in the landscape of our lives, including experiences in our family of origin, formative life events, and our societal/cultural sense of belonging or marginalization. Our stories are not fixed – counseling is an opportunity to reframe, retell and reclaim our stories as we work toward healing, integration, and self-acceptance. I have specialized training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, and models for working with bereavement and trauma.
